We Buy Sea Shells $$$

The Wellington Shell Club is interested in acquiring individual shells or shell collections, small and large.

Shells in good condition or those which are not broken, chipped, faded, bleached or beach worn are usually the most desirable.

New Zealand shells are preferred to those from overseas. Shells or collections which include identification data, location site and collection dates are generally more interesting and valuable than those with limited or no information. Many private collections often contain rare or unusual specimens which are sought after by shell collectors.

If you have individual shells, or a shell collection for sale or donation to the Wellington Shell Club please contact us for an initial discussion.

What is the best thing about our club?

The people in the club are friendly and outgoing types who enjoy a good walk along the beach and sharing their knowledge and experiences about shells.
